Curatorial

 

2005 - 2008                              

·         ‘Maldives Contemporary 2005’

The inaugural exhibition of the National Art Gallery, Maldives. The event is envisaged as a triennial.  The exhibition consisted of over 70artworks by 29 Maldivian artists.

·         ‘Maldives Contemporary 2008’ (scheduled for September 2008)

 

·         Aiminath Hilmy – Imagination (National Art Gallery)

An exhibition of drawings by Maldivian artist Aiminath Hilmy

·         Image and Identity – 100 years of Stamps in the Maldives (National Art Gallery, Maldives). The exhibition consisted of over 100 images of Maldivian postal stamps spanning a century

·         Beyond the Tourists’ Eye (National Art Gallery, Maldives)

An exhibition of 5 contemporary Maldivian artists. After a successful run in Male’, the exhibition travelled to National Art Gallery, Sri lanka and India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, India
